In this video I'm going to show you how you can archive and preserve webpages, like Archive.org's "Wayback Machine".
To do this, you don't need to install anything. You just need to sign up for a free account at this webpage: "Iterasi".
If you do a Google search for it, it should take you to their homepage. Or else you can just go to "iterasi.com"
Then click the big orange-yellow sign-up button and sign up for an account.
It'll ask you for your e-mail address and you'll need to create a username and password.
It's going to send you a confirmation e-mail. Once you click that confirmation e-mail, it takes you to this page.
What you need to do here is hit "Ctrl B" to bring up your bookmarks and drag the bookmarklets that it gives you onto your bookmarks.
Now if you want to archive a webpage, just go to that webpage.
Let's say I want to archive my own webpage. I'll just go to it and click the "Archive to Iterasi" bookmarklet and it's going to bring up this page.
Now I can organize it by putting it in different folders and also by adding tags to make it easier to search.
Once you click "OK" give it a couple of minutes and then click the "Go to my pages" link and it's going to bring up the pages that you've archived.
If you click on it, it will take you to the Iterasi viewer where you can view the entire webpage.
So no matter what changes you make to it in the future, you've archived it on this website.
